At Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors Meeting, there was a discussion on the formation a Humboldt County Safety Committee. the Board agreed unanimously to move forward with the formation of the committee, and County Engineer Ben Loots explains why establishing this committee is important.
Loots says the committee will save the County money while a making the workplace safer.
Loots says the next step is to send letters to each department asking to provide a representative to sit on the committee followed by an initial meeting and the creation of County policies.
