Dakota City, IA – An agreement between Humboldt County and the City of Humboldt to form a combined voting precinct in the partially unincorporated territory of all or part of a city was approved.
At the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, it was mutually agreed upon that Humboldt 1 Precinct will be comprised of Humboldt City Precinct 1 and Corinth Township, Sections 1 through 11, 14, through 23 and 26 through 35.
Humboldt 2 Precinct will be comprised of Humboldt City Precinct 2 and Beaver Township, Sections 7 through 36 of Corinth Township, Sections 13, 24, 25 and 36 lying south of the corporate limits of the City of Humboldt. Humboldt 3 Precinct will be comprised of Humboldt City Precinct 3 and Rutland Township, Sections 7 through 31, including the City of Rutland.
The City-County Precinct Agreement was approved unanimously.
