Gilmore City, IA -At Monday’s Gilmore City City Council meeting, the council set the date and time for the maximum property tax hearing in February. At the hearing, the public is encouraged to present objections to or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy for fiscal year 2022-2023.
The hearing will be on February 14th at 6:30 pm at Gilmore City City Hall.
Also at the council meeting, Tom Kavanaugh was sworn in as the newest councilmember of Gilmore City. Kavanaugh won election in November.
