GILMORE CITY, IA -The Gilmore City Public Library hosted a Dr. Seuss Birthday Party on Saturday morning. Gilmore City Public Library Director Lorna Naeve says the event was a success.
Michelle Bissell is the Children’s Librarian at the Library and says events like this is it’s great to get children into reading early.
Along with Alex Benzegala reading to the children, there were crafts and treats as well.
Naeve says with the success of this year’s event, they hope to do a Dr. Seuss event again next year.
