Fort Dodge man wanted for First Degree Murder after shooting Thursday night

Fort Dodge, IA – An arrest warrant for first degree murder has been issued by the Fort Dodge Police Department in connection with a shooting Thursday night. The warrant is for 27-year-old Adarius Clayton of Fort Dodge.

According to a release from the FDPD, a shooting was reported Thursday night at approximately 9:56 p.m. in the 700 block of Seventh Ave. N. When first responders arrived at the scene, they located an unresponsive female victim in the parking lot at 707 Seventh Ave. N. The victim was pronounced dead and has been identified as 26-year-old Nicole Reza of Fort Dodge.

The alleged culprit Clayton is described as an African-American, 5’9″ tall, and weighing 190 pounds. The Fort Dodge Police Department considers Clayton to be armed and dangerous.
