Humboldt, IA – The Team for Hungary Committee has their two-day Meals from the Heartland event today and tomorrow. Humboldt Middle School principal Cassie Smith.
Today, students from St. Mary’s and and Humboldt Middle School will package meals and on Saturday, the Humboldt Ministerial Association will sponsor the 11th Annual Meals from the Heartland event. This year’s goal is to package 125,000 meals at a cost of 25 cents per meal. Meals from the Heartland will take place at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall in Humboldt.
