Des Moines, IA – More winter weather is expected on Saturday after Thursday’s snowfall blanketed the region.
The National Weather Service, as of 5:00 a.m. today is forecasting an additional 3-4 inches of snow for North Central Iowa. The timing of the snowfall shows that snow will expand across Iowa from East to West Saturday morning and taper off into the evening.
The NWS says that winter travel conditions may occur from slick roads.
