Algona, IA – Two Algona residents have been arrested on drug charges after a search warrant led to their arrest.
36-year-old Jessica Subject and 42-year-old Brent Weisbrod, both of Algona, were arrested Monday, Mar. 27, after a joint investigation between the Algona Police Department and Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office. Items seized during the warrant included cash, illegal drugs, and items known to be associated with the selling or distribution of methamphetamine.
Both were charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony; Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp, a Class D Felony; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
The Algona Police Department and Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office were assisted in the execution of the search warrant by the Iowa State Patrol.
