Humboldt, IA – Humboldt High School’s student senate is holding a blood drive next Wednesday and there are still some spots open.

Emily Lane and Megan Meyers, teachers at Humboldt High School, say there are still some open slots to give blood.

The goal for the drive is for 60 people to attempt to give blood as the effort is made to replenish the supply here in Iowa.  Lifeserve Blood in Fort Dodge is helping with Humboldt’s cause.

The blood draw is Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium lobby. Appointments can be made at lifeserve.com, by calling 800-287-4903 or text LIFESERVE to 999-777.
