Humboldt, IA – A historic 2023-24 season for Humboldt girls’ basketball came to end Tuesday night at the hands of the defending Class 3A State Champion Sioux Center Warriors.
The Humboldt girls’ fell 61-45 to the Warriors in the 4A-Region 7 Finals. For Humboldt, Tielyr Smith led the team with 12. For Sioux Center, Makailya Vander Waal led with 25.
Humboldt finishes the 2023-24 season at 18-5 overall and a 12-2 North Central Conference record, placing second one game behind Algona.
