Fort Dodge, IA – A Fort Dodge man was arrested Thursday on a slew of charges in Humboldt County.
According to a press release by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Demetrius Eugene Foy was arrested after a search warrant was executed by the Fort Dodge Police Department with cooperation from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. Foy was taken into custody on the charges of:
- Burglary in the 1st Degree, a Class B Felony
- Stalking-Violation of Protective Order – Class C Felony
- Child Endangerment-Serious Injury – Class C Felony
- Domestic Abuse Assaut-2nd Offense – Aggravated Misdemeanor
- Harassment in the 1st Degree – Aggravated Misdemeanor (Two Counts)
- Violation of No Contact/Protective Order – Simple Misdemeanor
Foy was also arrested for the following Webster County charge of:
- Violation of Probation
The press release states that Foy was transported to the Humboldt County Jail to await his initial appearance and is currently being held on a $52,000 cash-only bond. Additional charges may be filed in this case as the investigation is still ongoing.
