Dakota City closing City Hall until further notice

Dakota City, IA – Dakota City is closing City Hall to the public following the declaration of State of Public Health Disaster Emergency.

In a press release by Dakota City they have announced that starting Thursday, March 19, they will be shutting their doors to the public. They say their number one priority is the health and well being of their employees, customers and the community they serve.

City Staff will continue to work in the buildings, practicing social distancing and be available to help over the phone and responding to emails. For water and utility bill payments a drop box will be available in front of City Hall. Mail in payments and online payments are also accepted.
