Renwick Fire Department Hosting Donkey Daze

The Renwick Fire Department is hosting Donkey Daze on June 4th with music from The Kraft Brothers from 5-8pm.   Stay for the Live Auction and Riddled with Class preforming from 9pm-12am.   The cost is 10 per person to get into the party so mark your calendar for June 4th for Donkey Daze in downtown Renwick, all proceeds benefitting the Renwick Fire Department, Inc.

Hand Quilting Class

“Busy Work” : Women’s Hand Crafts of the 1800s – Hand Quilting Class Saturday June 11th from 10am -12pm.  Register for this fun class all about Hand Quilting! Guest instructor Master Quilter Janice Olson will talk about the history of Hand Quilting as well as demonstrate how to hand quilt blocks.  Registration fee is $5.00 for adults over 18, children 9-18 are FREE, to register go to www.humboldtcohm.org to the “Events” or in person during regular business hours.  The class will be held in the Clancy Classroom in the Humboldt County Historical Museum in Dakota City.

Gilmore City Fire Department is hosting, Hometown Hero’s Memorial Ride Lunch

The Gilmore City Fire Department is hosting lunch for the Hometown Hero’s Memorial Ride Saturday 06/18/2022 from 11am to 1pm,  serving steak sandwich, baked beans, chips, bars and a drink with a free koozie for only $15.00.  Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a fabulous lunch from 11am – 1pm at the Gilmore City Fire Station.  T-shirts will be available for sale at the Fire Station from 11-1pm.

Wedding Dress Exhibit

Wedding Dress Exhibit at the Humboldt County Historical Museum, Saturday, June 25th from 10am – 4pm.  Tour the Millhouse and Historic Hardy Church and explore local history with our wedding dress collection!  Visitors can experience different decades of wedding dresses and the women of the county who wore them.   Refreshments and Wedding Cake will be served for visitors in the Church basement.

Admission: $5.00 for adults over 18 and children 18 and under are free -Refreshments will be served from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

Humboldt LGBTQ Pride
