Cram the Cab for Local Food Pantry
Humboldt County is home to some of the hardest working farmers in Iowa. Our farmers work hard to be stewards of the land, animal caregivers and community supporters. One-way Farmers from across Humboldt County are giving back is through the “Cram the Cab” promotion from March 20 through the 25th at Hy-Vee in Humboldt.
A drop off box will be available at Hy-Vee during National Agriculture Week for people to make donations to the Food Pantry with a goal of filling the cab of a tractor with food. As a way of saying thank you to the people that donate and a chance for area farmers to give back, the County Farm Bureau will donate $1 for every pound of food donated – up to $500.
Please stop by Hy-Vee during National Agriculture Week (March 20-25) and join the County Farm Bureau on March 25th from 10am to noon for some fun Tailgate games for a chance at some prizes and until supplies last Free ANF or ISU Farm Strong t-shirts with a cash donation to the food pantry.
