Humboldt, IA – Possible minor injuries are reported following a two vehicle incident in Humboldt.
Officer Erin Bennett of the Humboldt Police Department files the report on the incident. Her report says that on Wednesday, June 23, Courtney Christianson, 33, of Humboldt was traveling north on 9th Street North approaching the intersection with 6th Avenue North. At the same time, Shayna Lange, 19, of Humboldt was west on 6th Ave N, going through the intersection and her silver Toyota Camry was struck by Christianson’s white Nissan Rogue. The report says Christianson failed to stop and yield the stop sign.
Lange’s Camry was able to be driven away from the scene while Christianson’s Rogue was towed away. Officer Bennett reports that Lange complained of some pain and was transported privately to be further evaluated.
