Renwick, IA – The City of Renwick is currently under a drinking water advisory until further notice.
The Renwick Water Supply is recommending to boil water before using for drinking or to use an alternative source because the water may have high levels of nitrate. It is not recommended to give the water to infants under the age of 6 months old, as those within that age range who drink water containing nitrate in excess of the maximum containment level could become seriously ill and if untreated, may result in death. Adults and children older than six months of age can drink the water after boiling.
The advisory is in place until further notice.
