Humboldt Community Chorus – “This Song ‘s For You” Show

The Humboldt Community Chorus is performing “This Song’s For You” to the public this weekend. Performances will be held this Friday, Feb 4th at 7pm, Saturday, Feb 5th at 2pm and 7pm and the Final performance is Sunday, Feb 6th at 2pm. Their Big Band will be playing a half-hour before each show. The Humboldt Community Chorus presentation will be held at the R Wesley Carlson Auditorium at the Humboldt High School. Tickets are $10 adults ad $5 for children under 18 and available at Humboldt Hy-Vee, V&S Variety Store downtown Humboldt or from any Chorus member. HCMH & Humboldt County Public Health – Annual Warm the Heart Food Drive

HCMH and Humboldt County Public Health joining forces for the Annual Warm the Heart Food drive, to help stock our local food pantry.  This event takes place on February 14th from 7am-1pm.  Donations can be dropped off at the HCMH Ambulance garage on 15th St North.  If you are a business that would like a pick up, call 332-2492.  Let’s Make the biggest year ever to stock our local food pantry.

The Lions Club Chili Supper

The Lions Club Chili Supper will be on Friday, March 11th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. It is a carry out only and visitors can purchase a ticket through a Humboldt Lions Member or at the door. Tickets are $8.00. Use the  Southwest door of the fellowship hall of Our Saviors Lutheran Church to pick up your chili.

Proceeds from the event will be going to the Wildcat Wonderland Project!

Renwick Fire Department Fish Fry

The Renwick Fire Department is hosting a fish fry fundraiser on Saturday, March 12th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Renwick fire-shed.  They will be serving fish, fries and coleslaw for a free will donation.  Proceeds will be going toward a ground monitor.  Carry-out will be available, and this is the perfect time to see the addition to the fire-shed…and enjoy some fish.

THE HUMBOLDT MUSIC BOOSTERS SOUP AND SONG MARCH 17, 2022

Humboldt Music Boosters SOUP AND SONG will be Thursday March 17TH, 2022 from 5-6:30.   They will be serving chicken noodle and potato soup, dinner roll, and a drink for a free will donation.  This will be at the high school cafeteria, with a concert to follow at 7pm.

The 10th Meals from the Heartland event in Humboldt County will be held on Friday, March 18th for students and Saturday, March 19th for the community at Our Savior’sLutheran Church Fellowship Hall. One meal costs 25 cents -$1 will feed 4 hungry people! Donations and volunteers are needed to package meals. Please contact Allen Goche at 515-890-9116 or Jan Goche at 515-890-9117.

Pheasants Forever – Webster County Chapter – 37th Annual Banquet

The Webster County Chapter of Pheasants Forever, 37th Annual banquet, will be held on Saturday, March 19th at the Webster County Fairgrounds, south of Fort Dodge.

Doors open at 4:30pm with a New York Strip dinner, catered by Hy-Vee which will be served at 6:15pm
